Hall of Fame
In 1996, the MLBA instituted the Hall of Fame Award. This award is presented annually to recognize the accomplishments of a breeder who has been a longtime member of the organization, a person of the highest integrity, and one who has demonstrated ongoing leadership in both the Association and within the breed itself.
